Struck at the Popayan Mint, assayer UE. Catalog: Restrepo 178. 24 Certified by PCGS to AU 53, Population Census: This coin, only 1 higher (AU 58), NGC 0 0. Appears to be the scarce 1846 5 overdate variety, but PCGS did not make that attribution in this older holder. Colorfully toned with lustrous surfaces, beautiful in hand.
